1.Image Optimization

Image optimization is only can decrease your website load time by 30% to 50%. Because there is only images that increases pages size and website's size. But this means not that avoid the use of images. Blog posts are incomplete without use of Images. So always use images but always use images size of 250px or less. if you do not have any better reason then never use larger image. I'm also made mistakes in past to using huge and larger images. Using of Larger image the site takes more time to load so people always ignores to visit again. You can also reduce your image size using following tools.
Optimize your images always using Photoshop
You can optimize your images using online tool Imageoptimizer. I would say that on average imageoptimizer can  reduce image size by 30-40%.
Always use .jpeg  or .gif format other than .png or any other else. But remember one thing, reducing image size can affect on the the image quality so don't optimize your images at high Level.

2.GZIP Compression

This is the second best trick to reduce your website size. Now days all the Browsers are compatible with Gzip compression features so why would we are not using this wonderful tool. Gzip compression is a very simple and effective tool that compress you website pages and reduce its size by 60-70% . So what happens in Gzip compression. When we requests for any pages to the server, the requested page is compressing to the Gzip and it loads. Then our browsers decompress those Gzip compressed pages and we can see the entire page that we requested.we can save our times and internet uses both using it. Now days  most of hosting providers provides GZIP compression by default. If you want to check that your host providers are providing you Gzip compression service or not, you need to contact them or you can use this online tool  Gzip compression checker to check that Gzip is enabled or not. But if you are blogging with blogger then sorry i can't say anything.

3.Cache

The third and last trick is Caching. Caching is a great thing that makes your website faster. In this case, when the the page loads in to the browser, it saves a copy of images, stylesheets, javascripts or the entire page. Therefore, the next time when the user needs to load that pages, the browser doesn’t have to download it again. It loads from saved Resources. But some times it creates problem. Suppose if you have old logo in you webpage and it was saved on the cache file. Now you have changed the logo but the URL of logo is same therefore when you load the page, you can see that always the old logo is loads. But don't worry it is not a problem now, so enjoy your faster  websites.

I hope these tips will help you to make your blog lightning fast. There are many other tricks to load website fast but they all increase your speed by 1-2 % only. Do you have any other tips that  boost your blog’s speed?
