Hacking - for first step

     OK, it is obvious that if you are reading this you want to be a Hacker. And there is nothing wrong with wanting to know more. If you look in Google “How to be a hacker”, you are going to find a lot of articles. But they are all explaining about the hacker’s culture, and not from where to start.

The true is that you can start from everywhere. I was looking for the same answers 10 years ago, and it was hard to find anything at all.

  

   Now computer security is becoming more and more popular. You can find news, lessons, video tutorials and more on the web. But you can still lose your way. That’s why let me advise you to start by installing security testing OS like BackTrack. This OS is a Linux distribution that have a collection of useful software. It can be installed on your computer but even more cool it can be installed on a USB flash drive. Put the flash drive on your keychain and you are a hacker 24/7 everywhere. If you can’t work with Linux, first try something easy like Ubuntu.

     The easiest way is to install BackTrack/Ubuntu on virtual machine in your Windows and start learning. Very good and free program for this is VirtualBox.
